  1. Please avoid confusing marketing with selling or presenting. Real marketing involves customer feedback and product design as a whole cycle. That’s useful but much harder to do so it’s not going to happen soon. Jut presenting the existing GNOME should be easier.
    When you confuse them it just frustrates the marketing types and the resulting long discussion about the meanings of words gets in the way.

  2. I very much agree that it’s important to get customer feedback. So important that we need to figure out how to do it now. Whether it’s through case studies, usability studies or surveys, we need user feedback on GNOME. We especially need to hear from non-developer users, since we have lots of developers in our community.
